Reaching people in other languages
Add a translation per language, by hand or as machine-translated draft you correct — and why it makes a listing findable rather than merely readable.
A listing is written in one language, but the marketplace is not. Each listing has a translations panel, one block per language the platform runs in.

You can type the translation yourself, or press the machine-translate button and then correct it. Machine translation is a starting point: it does not know your subject and it will not get names or specialist terms right. Read what it produced before saving.
Anything you have not translated falls back to the original, so a partly translated listing is never broken — it is simply less findable in that language. Search matches the translated text too, which is the actual reason to bother.
There is a monthly limit on machine translation per account. Typing a translation yourself never counts against it.
