Publishing your availability

A time-slot listing is not bookable until you open some slots — start here, then work through publishing them, timezones and taking one back.

A listing sold as time slots is not bookable until you publish some. The listing can be perfect and still show "no open slots are available" to everyone looking at it, which is the single most common reason a new listing gets no bookings.

First, the listing has to be a time-slot listing

Slots only exist on a listing whose kind is Time slot. If you chose One-off or Standing offer, there is no availability to publish — buyers simply request the listing itself.

You can change the kind while nothing is booked against it. Once bookings exist, you cannot, so it is worth getting right when you create the listing.
