Getting paid in Ukraine (ФОП)

For tutors registered in Ukraine — start with the one fact everything else follows from: students pay you, not us.

This article is for tutors registered in Ukraine. If you are registered somewhere else, the rules below do not apply to you — connect the processor that covers your country instead, and skip the ФОП pages entirely.

This is a practical guide to the product, not tax advice. Registration, taxation and fiscal-receipt duties are yours, and the specifics depend on your group, your turnover and what you teach. Confirm anything that affects your filings with your accountant.

The one thing to understand first

Students pay you, not us. You connect your own payment account, and the money goes from the student's card into that account.

We are not a payment institution and we never hold your money. That has three consequences worth knowing before you start:

• You need your own way of receiving card payments before you can accept a paid booking. There is no platform balance to withdraw from.
• Refunds come out of your account, on the terms of your own acquirer.
• Your name, not ours, is what a student sees on their card statement.
